Yes. You may bring your own stroller into Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park if it stays within Disneyland Resort's current size limit. Strollers larger than 31 inches wide by 52 inches long are prohibited. Wagons—including stroller wagons—are not allowed, even when they fold or fit within those dimensions.
You can also rent a single or double stroller from Disneyland Resort outside the theme parks. The best option depends on whether you need the stroller only after reaching the entrance or throughout the entire trip, including the hotel, parking area and walks around Anaheim.
Disneyland stroller rules at a glance
- Maximum size: 31 inches (79 centimeters) wide by 52 inches (132 centimeters) long.
- Wagons: prohibited.
- Stroller wagons: prohibited, regardless of how they fold.
- Personal strollers: allowed when they meet the rules.
- Disney rentals: single and double strollers are available outside the theme parks, subject to availability.
- Rental use: Disneyland's rented strollers may be used in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
Disneyland's official park rules are the controlling source for the size and wagon restrictions. A stroller that worked on an older trip or at another destination is not automatically eligible today.
How should you measure a stroller for Disneyland?
Measure the stroller when it is fully open and ready to use. Check the widest point from side to side and the longest point from front to back. Include wheels, frames, handles or attachments that extend beyond the main seat.
Do not rely only on a product name such as “compact” or “double.” Manufacturer measurements are a useful starting point, but compare the actual open stroller with Disneyland's 31-by-52-inch limit. If an organizer, cup holder or other attachment changes the overall dimensions, remove it before measuring.
Are double strollers allowed at Disneyland?
Yes, a double stroller is allowed if it stays within the size limit and is not a wagon or stroller wagon. Both side-by-side and tandem designs can qualify, but the model's open dimensions determine whether it meets the rule.
Measure before the trip rather than discovering a problem at security. A double stroller also takes more space in crowds and stroller-parking areas, so consider maneuverability as well as eligibility.
Are stroller wagons allowed at Disneyland?
No. Disneyland's rules separately prohibit wagons, including stroller wagons. Folding flat, having seat belts or fitting inside the maximum stroller dimensions does not turn a stroller wagon into an allowed stroller.
If your family normally uses a wagon, choose a compliant stroller or plan to rent one. Do not build the trip around an assumption that security will make an exception at the entrance.
How much does it cost to rent a stroller at Disneyland?
As of October 24, 2026, Disneyland's official stroller-rental page lists:
- Single stroller: $18 per day.
- Double stroller: $36 per day.
Those prices can change, and rentals are subject to availability. Confirm the current rate and operating details for your dates instead of treating this article as a future price guarantee.
Where do you rent a stroller at Disneyland?
Disneyland says its stroller-rental location is outside the theme parks, just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. A stroller rented there can be used in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
That shared location is helpful for Park Hopper guests because the two entrances face the same central esplanade. Read Is Park Hopper Worth It at Disneyland? if you are deciding whether moving between the parks belongs in your trip plan.
Review the current return procedure when you rent. Do not assume the same stroller, receipt or rental terms work beyond the stated locations or on a later day unless the Cast Member confirms it.
Should you bring your own stroller or rent from Disneyland?
Bringing your own may work better when:
- your child already sleeps or rests comfortably in it;
- you need a stroller between the hotel, parking area and park entrance;
- you want familiar storage, recline and sunshade features;
- you know the stroller meets Disneyland's dimensions; or
- you want to avoid daily rental availability and pickup.
Renting from Disneyland may work better when:
- you do not want to fly or drive with a stroller;
- you only need one after arriving at the theme-park entrance;
- your stroller at home is too large or is a stroller wagon;
- you prefer a simple single-day solution; or
- you are comfortable using Disneyland's rental design and current terms.
The park rental is not necessarily a full-trip solution because pickup occurs outside the theme parks. Think through the distance from your room, vehicle or drop-off point to the rental location—especially at the end of a long day.
What about a length-of-stay stroller rental?
Disneyland currently identifies ScooterBug as its featured mobility-rental provider for guests staying at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. The official page says hotel guests can arrange preordered stroller deliveries, including length-of-stay rentals.
ScooterBug is a separate company with its own inventory, prices, terms and delivery procedures. Compare the complete cost and confirm that the exact model meets Disneyland's rules. Brittany does not arrange stroller or transportation rentals, so those reservations remain the traveler's responsibility.

Where do strollers go while you ride?
Most standard strollers are left in designated stroller-parking areas before your party enters an attraction queue. Follow posted signs and Cast Member directions rather than leaving the stroller against a building, in a walkway or beside an attraction entrance.
Keep important items—phones, wallets, tickets, medication and travel documents—with you. Use a simple identifier that helps your stroller stand out without adding bulky decorations or prohibited attachments, and remember that Cast Members may reorganize parking areas.
Can a stroller be used as a wheelchair at Disneyland?
Disneyland offers a “Stroller as a Wheelchair” tag for guests with disabilities who use a stroller as a mobility device, for children who need it to transport medical equipment, and for qualifying adults using a stroller for mobility support. When a tag is issued, the guest may keep the device in attraction queues.
Visit Guest Relations for information and an individual determination. Disneyland's current attraction-queue accessibility guide explains the stated eligibility categories and process. This accommodation is based on a disability-related need, not general stroller convenience.
A practical Disneyland stroller checklist
- Measure the fully open stroller at its widest and longest points.
- Confirm it is no more than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long.
- Leave wagons and stroller wagons at home.
- Practice folding the stroller and removing accessories before travel.
- Pack valuables in a small bag you can take into queues.
- Add a simple, easy-to-recognize stroller tag.
- Decide whether you need the stroller before reaching the park entrance.
- Recheck Disneyland's rules and rental prices shortly before the trip.
Bottom line
You may bring a stroller into Disneyland when it is no larger than 31 inches wide by 52 inches long and is not a wagon or stroller wagon. Disneyland also rents single and double strollers outside the parks. Bring your own for familiar, door-to-door use; consider renting when you want to travel without one and only need it around the parks.
