Hi all! I just returned from a fabulous trip to Disney World. Then again… they’re always fabulous! I thought I’d share what I bought for souvenirs this time around. First, I bought a couple of souvenirs for some people who helped out taking care of my fur child. I bought one of them a set of Disney-themed hot chocolate mixes (which were EVERYwhere since it’s almost Christmas) as well as this hand lotion, which I got from the store on the left-hand side as you’re walking from Future World into World Showcase in Epcot. Then I bought the same set of hot chocolate mixes for another friend. This time, though, I paired it with this adorable Finding Nemo onesie I purchased from Mouse Gear in Epcot. I also bought a set of Disney-themed coffees for a third person who stopped by to visit our cat a couple of times. Then… for the fun stuff… souvenirs for us! My husband only wanted a tie. He’s had his eye on this Mickey tie for quite some time. He bought this at one of the shops on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. I bought a retro Mickey pin I’m planning on either putting on my lab coat for work, or on my badge holder. I also bought the most festive pj’s I’ve ever seen. They came as a set and while you probably can’t tell from the picture, there are hidden Mickey’s in some of the designs. I saw these at several stores but had to buy mine on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom since they were the ones that carried my size (pretty sure I got an extra small). I’m obsessed with Christmas (as you’ll later see) so as soon as I saw these flannel jammies I knew I had to have them. My next souvenir was kind of an impulse purchase and not Disney-ish at all, really. We were at Downtown Disney and were looking through the Christmas store when I decided I needed to collect something Christmas related. After looking through their book section I decided to collect Christmas books. So now… my collection is up to 1! This book has many traditional stories in it, most of which I’ve never read. The book and it’s illustrations are very pretty, so I’m quite proud of my find. Lastly, I had been in the gift shop (mercantile, actually) at the Wilderness Lodge, where we were staying, several times. Each time I was in there this sweatshirt caught my eye. After thinking about it for several days I decided to purchase it. It’s a very lightweight sweatshirt material. Shopping at Disney World is always so much fun. I find myself needing EVERYthing, so I’m quite proud that I really didn’t come home with that much stuff. I also had asked for a Disney gift card for my birthday this past summer, so I was able to use that for many of the souvenirs I bought, for both myself as well as our pet caretakers. :)
I hope you enjoyed seeing my finds on this last trip. Thanks for reading!
